STUDIO MH is a multi-disciplinary architecture and interior design studio with experience across a wide range of project types that specializes in the integration of design disciplines. Having executed hotels, spa wellness, medical care, museums, restaurants, retail stores, corporate offices, residential condos, private residences, clubhouses, and products, we approach a chair, a space, and a super structure all with a singular philosophy.

Michael founded STUDIO MH in New York City in 2006 and in 2013, Project Design Collective by STUDIO MH was established in Shanghai and has served projects across Asia, Europe, and America. He is known for his keen attention to detail, his ability to tackle the design and planning of complex projects at a variety of scales, and his careful attention to client and user needs.

Michael Hsieh, founder and creative director of the studio, is an architect, a designer, and a style maker, taking on each project with no specific stylistic agenda but rather with a mindset of achieving a certain lifestyle and ethos manifested by its end users. An avid traveler and collector of "junks" and artifacts, Michael also draws inspiration from his global travel experiences. Known for his keen attention to detail, his designs transcend the boundaries between conventional design paradigms and disciplines.
