Founded in 1982, Halcyon Gallery has championed emerging and established international artists who display exceptional talent, technical skill, and intrinsic creativity. From the first gallery at Birmingham New Street Station to Bond Street today, Halcyon Gallery curates a competitive, annual modern art program including large-scale public installations and important museum-scale exhibitions within the UK and worldwide.
Halcyon Gallery first opened its Shanghai branch at the beginning of 2013 and in 2019, the gallery went through an extensive renovation with the addition of an outdoor garden and exhibition space, along with the opening of MAM (Modern Art Museum) and Mess Restaurant. A selection from the jewel of their collection--including works by Picasso and Warhol--is shown alongside temporary exhibitions.
